When Hero first contacted me, my first thought was that I was impressed that he managed to get the username “Hero”!

Hero is known for his Terraria videos on YouTube. There is an item in Terraria called the “hero tunic” that makes your character look like Link from The Legend of Zelda, which he is known for wearing, and because of that he wanted to redo his emotes and channel branding to fit the Link theme.

They were a lot of fun to work on! There’s quite a bit of variety in the feeling and positioning of the emotes – not just the same face with a bunch of different expressions.

Hero has made some alterations to the emotes himself, so any differences you see between these and the ones on his channel page while he uses them are for that reason.
